  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs, room temp
  • 1 tbsp orange zest
  • 2 tbsp fresh orange juice
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup powdered sugar for white glaze
  • 2 tbsp milk for white glaze
  • 1 cup powdered sugar for orange glaze
  • 23 tbsp fresh orange juice for orange glaze

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C) and grease a bundt pan.
  2. Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt in one bowl.
  3. In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well.
  4. Stir in orange zest, juice, vanilla extract, and alternate adding dry mix with buttermilk until just combined.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared bundt pan; bake for 55-65 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Cool for 15 minutes before inverting onto a wire rack.
