  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 23 tablespoons milk
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a Bundt or loaf pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
  4. Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk to the butter mixture until just combined.
  5. For the cinnamon swirl, mix brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter in a small bowl.
  6. Pour half of the batter into the pan, add half of the cinnamon mixture, then repeat with remaining batter and swirl on top.
  7. Bake for 55-65 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  8. For the honey glaze, whisk powdered sugar, honey, milk, and vanilla until smooth; drizzle over warm cake.
