  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 medium yellow onion, diced
  • 4 tsp garlic, minced
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 28 oz can fire-roasted crushed tomatoes
  • 15 oz can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  • 15 oz can black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 15 oz can pinto beans, rinsed and drained
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp chili powder
  • 1 Tbsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Add diced onions and minced garlic; cook until softened.
  2. Stir in ground turkey and cook until browned.
  3. Mix in brown sugar, chili powder, cumin, oregano, salt, pepper, and tomato paste.
  4. Pour in broth and crushed tomatoes; add all beans. Stir well to combine.
  5. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 30 minutes.
