  • 1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup melted butter
  • Cool Whip (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 13×9 inch baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine pumpkin puree, evaporated milk, eggs, sugar, cinnamon, and salt until smooth.
  3. Pour the pumpkin mixture into the prepared dish and evenly sprinkle the yellow cake mix on top.
  4. Add chopped pecans over the cake mix and drizzle melted butter on top.
  5. Bake for 50-55 minutes until golden brown and set; check doneness with a toothpick.
