  • 5 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 batch red velvet cake batter
  • 24 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 teaspoon red gel food coloring

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine Oreo crumbs and melted butter; press into springform pan and bake for 10 minutes. Let cool.
  3. Pour red velvet cake batter over cooled crust; bake for 20–25 minutes until just set. Cool completely.
  4. Beat cream cheese until smooth; add sugar, vanilla, eggs (one at a time), and sour cream until combined. Pour over red velvet layer and bake in a water bath at 325°F (163°C) for 50–60 minutes until just set. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours.
  5. Melt white chocolate chips, mix in red gel food coloring, and drizzle over chilled cheesecake.
  6. Top with whipped topping or buttercream and whole Oreos before serving.
