  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Vegetable oil (for frying)
  • Garlic powder
  • Onion powder
  • Smoked paprika
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. Pat chicken dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Set up a dredging station with flour in one shallow dish, beaten eggs in another, and a mixture of panko breadcrumbs, feta cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper in a third dish.
  3. Dredge each chicken breast through the flour, dip into egg, then coat with the panko mixture.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  5. Fry coated chicken breasts for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature of at least 165°F).
  6. For the hot honey glaze, gently mix honey, hot sauce, and lemon juice in a small saucepan over low heat until warmed.
  7. Drain excess oil from cooked chicken on paper towels and drizzle with the hot honey glaze before serving.
