  • 6 oz dill havarti cheese, grated
  • 2 tbsp dill pickles, chopped and patted dry
  • 2 pieces salted butter

  2. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  3. Spread salted butter on one side of each slice of sourdough bread. On the unbuttered side of one slice, layer half of the grated dill havarti cheese. Add the dried chopped dill pickles, then top with the remaining cheese and place the second slice of bread on top, buttered side facing out.
  4. Place the assembled sandwich in the heated skillet and cook for 3-5 minutes until golden brown. Use a spatula to gently flip it over and grill for another 3-5 minutes until crispy.
