  • 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 1 1/2 cups whole milk
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mild cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 small yellow onion
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • Salt and pepper
  • 13.9 ounces turkey sausage

Instructions

  1. Boil the penne pasta according to package instructions. Add broccoli florets during the last two minutes of cooking. Drain and set aside.
