  • 4 medium apples (peeled, cored, and chopped or sliced)
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (plus 1 teaspoon)
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 package refrigerated cinnamon rolls with frosting

Instructions

  1. Prepare your apples by peeling, coring, and chopping them.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine chopped apples, sugar, water, butter, cinnamon, cornstarch (plus extra), and additional water. Cook over medium heat until apples are tender and sauce thickens (about 5-7 minutes).
