  • 2 cups fresh green beans
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • optional: red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add sliced chicken, seasoning with salt and pepper, and cook until browned (5–7 minutes). Remove from skillet.
  2. In the same skillet, add remaining oil and stir-fry green beans for 3–4 minutes until tender-crisp.
  3. Add minced garlic and ginger; cook for another minute until fragrant.
  4. Return chicken to the skillet. Whisk together soy sauce, honey, and optional red pepper flakes; pour over the stir-fry. Cook for an additional 2–3 minutes until heated through.
